  1. One “habit of study” I recently adopted is setting a Google alert for “mindfulness.” Now I get a daily snapshot of mindfulness in business, wellness, scientific, and spiritual contexts.

  2. Me ha encantado el vídeo. Una manera sencilla de transmitir conceptos complejos. Me parece fundamental tener conocimiento de las investigaciones para profundizar en la práctica y en la enseñanza de Mindfulness. Gracias!

  3. Really enjoyed learning what the studies are finding. Will definitely dig in further and appreciate the sources of the studies when listed in the presentation. As a data geek this is one of the reasons I wanted to take the course! Thank you!!

  4. These quick-access research points are so helpful. As is the nudge to stay up to date, in particular, in areas that are most relevant for our target clients/students. Thank you!

  5. I knew that mindful meditation was important and that it works, however, I did not know of this research! This will help a lot when dealing with skeptical individuals. Great video to share.

  6. I find it intriguing that I have been interested in this thought-process for years, decades – I know now that it was my inner voice directing me, If every person had grown up with Mindfulness taught to them by parents or in school, we would be a much more resilient and compassionate population

  7. I am very happy to receive this information with which I can help many people, extraordinary and high value research.

  8. I'm really enjoying this course. Such helpful, actionable, and believable information, and really enjoyable process.

  9. Love the explanation around neuroplasticity! I fully understand it now. I never could quite grasp what exactly was happening before.

  10. I found this lesson very interesting and rich of materials and resources to continue expanding my knowledge.

  11. I think it is amazing how the brain work, the neuroplasticity makes us free to choose new ways of being, instead of being slaves of learned patters. Mindfulness is a very powerful tool to make new neuro networks for new behaviours and new ways of being, such as responding instead of reacting. I find also very powerful in these technological era, the self compassion research, the empathy for others and for ourselves is imperative. Mindfulness is a way to find our self compassion, our self love and ourselves indeed.

  12. I have watched this lesson like 3 times so far, this brain work and science behind it is so capturing. I am really fascinated!

  13. The Video is really presenting well the content, the content is very informative and worth using is future training delivery.

  14. I really liked that video. I think it would be a good one for anyone interested in meditation or mindfulness. It is one I think I could use in my class.

  15. It can be difficult to explain the research in an engaging and simple manner so this video is an excellent resource to share with groups at the beginning of a mindfulness class or set of classes. Thanks:)

  16. I love this kind of stuff!! It fits in so well with other courses such as Joe Dispenza's "Rewired" series.
The list of sources for continued research is going to be useful for maintaining an up to date understanding of developments in the subject.

  17. Great summary of the research! I also read Wolf and Sherpa's chapter on research in A Clinician's Guide to Teaching Mindfulness – as recommended. Great stuff.

  18. I really enjoyed this lesson and in particular the youtube video on the benefits of mindfulness practices. It's wonderful to hear and learn about the amazing research being done in this beneficial field. Thanks.

  19. This video is creative and clever. The content of information is good and well done. I agree that the video target group might be middle schoolers. It moved a bit too quickly for me and jumped from one picture and bit of information to another rapidly.

  20. never new now mindfulness can change people lives from being down to bring them back to life again by the power of the mind.

  21. We're adopting the Growth Mindset as a school community of learners (students and staff alike). I feel like this video will be useful for our teachers to have an understanding of neuroplasticity so they can communicate the benefits of mindfulness to our students. This can have a positive impact on the attitude of our staff and students.

  22. I do appreciate the visual effects within the video, and the references to the brain's rewiring/dewiring. I would like to have the citations of the research cited as a final section in the video. Too often, the words, "research states" can be an unreliable source. I think the final section of our lesson is to be diligent in identifying the research. Given my initial reaction to the video, I would still utilize it in a teaching environment and offer a refernce list. As a visually stimulated person, I liked the drawings as a teaching aid.

  23. Mindfullness meditation changes the neuropathways in the brain which changes our thoughts. In return we can feel better. This is wonderful information!

  24. Good overview of the many benefits of mindfulness training that have begun to be revealed by scientific research. Thanks.

  25. This is so simple that some patients don't take it seriously. The consistency of the new habits is a big first step. Making those neuro pathways stronger. Nature designed us to heal and mindfulness proves that when we use it.

  26. Love the video. It can explain the benefit of meditation in a more logical way, that it is not a woo woo activity and definitely a skill that need to be learned by every human being to make the world better.

  27. This video is great and can be really helpful. I just send it to my clients. Looking to their feedbacks.

  28. Hola mi gente, I find the brain research to be fascinating and an area that I want to get comfortable enough to share in the most simplest terms possible in Spanish and English. Everyone has a localized brain. One that the majority have never seen directly. That is an amazing add-on to this course IMO. Peace, El Conde de Canovanas aka Vicente 🙂

  29. I especially enjoyed the video as it addressed the neuroscience behind mindfulness medication. "cells that fire together, wire together", gives me hope for myself and others as we seek to live a more grounded, present, compassionate life. So motivating and encouraging. Thank you.
Deep well-being is possible and available!

  30. Thank you for sharing this.
How fascinating and important to know that mindfulness meditation restructures the brain! This needs to be mandatory for everyone to understand and to practice, especially children as they are growing up.

  31. This video is very informative and give greater insight on how powerful meditation is and it's effect on our mind.
