  2. loved this meditation. it gave me a full heart of gratitude, having the intention to send love to others and myself. thank you

  3. I am always astounded by how fantastic I feel, after wishing goodwill toward others. This is one of Heaven’s best hacks. 🙏🏾

  4. Astounding and inspiring. Everybody should do this at least once per week to feel synchronized to others again.

  5. Es maravilloso sentir la capacidad del corazón de abrirse y dejarse tocar por el amor y luego de expandir ese amor a los demás. Y lo más extraordinario es que siempre está dentro de nosotros a nuestra disposición.

  6. I love Meta Meditation and it’s part of my practice and my teaching. It just brings a beautiful sense of peacefulness of all beings; sense of togetherness and equanimity. It looks so simple and easy, yet powerful. Furthermore, sometimes hard to extend it towards all beings, when we have to reflect on people with who there’s tension.

  7. Have done this for years evn when I was younger not knowing it was a meditation. As I grew older understanding the energy of it more than just a prayer. i always feel a level of gratitude in doing this as well as Joy.

  8. It always brings a smile to my face to send out thoughts of loving-kindness to my husband and children and anyone else in my daily circle of prayers each day. In our current world climate, its reassuring to know that for a short time I can step outside the sadness of what's happening and actively do something more aligned with my truth for our planet and its inhabitants.

  9. Mind opening and expansive,
    Loving my neighbor as myself.
This simple meditation quieted the chatter in my head for a few minutes and really helped me to feel the connection to the wider world.

  10. Thank you, very powerful. My heart felt the love for all human beings. It should be practiced every day.

  11. I'm always suprised by the simplicity and effectiveness of Metta prayer. My heart was fuller on completion of this practice, though in the middle I felt some pain around my heart. Bringing the love back to myself at the end was key to feeling peace. I want to make this part of my sleep hygiene for better sleep. Thank you for this lesson, Sean!

  12. Loved the Metta prayer and use it in all my Loving Kindness meditations. Very similar to one a Yin Yoga teacher taught me:
May all beings be free from pain and harm
May we all be happy just the way we are
May we be at peace with whatever comes
And may we rest gently in the softness of our hearts

I often use that at the end of my yoga classes.

  13. This meditation help me focus on the individual sentence of, may I be safe may I be happy. And the others were very helpful when it comes to. Where your focus should be.

  14. I liked this meditation, and would love to practice on middle school students. Our upcoming adults do not experience this in our current society, and I think for anyone, this meditation of Loving Kindness helps find our own growth with self compassion!

  15. This meditation made me feel quite warm and spacious in my heart. It was a feeling that carried throughout the day and gave me a sense of connection and compassion for all beings including myself.
