  1. Thank you. It can feel overwhelming when starting something new. These guidelines are very clear and helpful. It is also very clear that this is to be done before actually teaching and that each step will inform the others and enable me to be flexible and creative in my process.

  2. Search YouTube for this video "How great leaders inspire action | Simon Sinek." I think it's the one that we no longer have access to. He discusses why some businesses and enterprises succeed and others fail. The difference is knowing why you're doing what you do. In this case, I assume it's knowing "why" you want to teach mindfulness meditation.

  3. This lesson is very important to clarify the perspective as a teacher, how we should prepare ourselves and the students.

  4. Overwhelming when I have to think about group courses. I am used to work with private clients, but I am receiving here the neccesary training to overcome the obstacle. Thank you very much

    1. Hi Sarah,

Thank you so much for these. It looks like the original Youtube videos being referenced have been taken down already.

  5. This guidance beautifully exemplifies what we need to learn before diving in—clarity about who we are and why we are teaching, specific purpose of our class and goals for our “students”.
As a facilitator in different settings, I so appreciate the acknowledgment that we need to select participants with care and be aware of possible disruptions that may affect all the others in the room. Learning from masters and Preparation is key!
    Thank you!

  6. Super valuable lesson and Im grateful to be able to narrow down my ideal client group and specify their needs and how I best can serve them! Awesome! BIG Thanks! 🙂

  7. This was very helpful! I was able to breakdown my target audience into three groups right away; youth, adult, and senior. I can already get a picture of sub-groups within each of these. Now I can really start getting my specific courses laid out!

  8. The explanation through this video section was extremely informative, especially the three points. know yourself, know the clients and know the context.

  9. I am curious to know what others wrote for their informed consent section. What are some areas that you made sure you captured?

  10. These are thought provoking questions for someone joining this field of work. The guidelines are very helpful and bring clarity as to what needs to be considered.

  11. Great reflection questions. Made me reflect very hard on my "why", which I thought I knew but wasn't clearly defined yet.
