This practice also helps me to be grateful for the body that I have rather than judging it. It’s really amazing to be in and not the separate enemy that I sometimes perceive it as.
I enjoyed hearing/reading the attitudes cultivated by doing the body scan. I was able to notice several of them and look forward to exploring this activity further in practice sessions.
I liked the body scan mindfulness practice exercise. As a busy mother sometimes simple yet short guided meditation helps a lot and easy to fit in your daily schedule.
This practice always relaxes my mind and body. My one issue is that I have a damaged nerve causing numbness in my toes, foot and lower right leg. Focusing on these area bring attention to a sensation of numbness and it causes distraction. However, as I move to other parts of the body I can let go of this sensation. I need to work on not judging and accepting these sensations.
Beautiful waking up my senses practice. Sight, Sound, Smell, Taste, Touch, Spiritual (unknown sense). Beautiful experience energy practice inside my body and around my body.
Always enjoy the body scan doing it generally each day. I like to do standing scans during the day as I often use a body scan to fall asleep – so standing helps me stay awake and I tend to stay with my body more than drifting into thinking.
Many sensations with this meditation, my body felt areas that had a sensation of pain, eg in the abdomen, other very relaxed areas, I could perceive my cells.
Not easy meditation. Letting your body express what is feeling without letting your mind interfere was very challenging. I love it and I consider it as a foundation rock to achieve mindfulness
At the start of the body scan, I felt very tense from head to toe and unsure if I would ever relax within 10 minutes. Half-way through – I had the same concern. Incredibly, by the end of the body scan, I was 100% relaxed, and melted into the surface beneath me. I felt recommitted, and more trust in the power of 10 minutes of mindfulness meditation.
This practice is a very helpful practice for me when I am feeling in my body emotions which are strong. There’s also helps me relax my body at the end of the night.
I sat in a chair for this meditation and was surprised by my ability to relax and drop into my body. This may be because it is bedtime, and I am tired. 🙂 I appreciate the script and looking forward to sharing it with my family and clients.
I love using the body scan. I start almost all of my meditations with a scan. It helps me to be grateful for this amazing organism. Esp if I have pain or discomfort in areas of my body. I believe the body responds to love, kindness and gratitude.

I completely agree. This course is changing my perspective on how I choose to live with a chronic disease that has no cure.
One of my favourite meditations… Thank you!

This was for me a kind of a "Healing" experience and I really felt Mind and Body unite 🙂
Always enjoy all kinds of body scans
Yes, the body scan is certainly good grounding into the moment during the scan and into the present after the scan. Beautiful!
Enjoyed this lesson

I love this meditation as it helps bring me out my head and into my whole being, in the present moment.
I very much enjoyed this. Though I am already doing the body scan and teaching it I found some very helpful suggestions very insightful
Thank you
