Administrators Gillian Florence Posted January 21 Administrators Share Posted January 21 This week's question asks: What do you feel your purpose is? For some, this is a very straightforward question. For others, it is complex, probing, and unclear. In either case, I invite you to share your thoughts on your purpose. What is it that you feel driven to contribute? What brings meaning to your life?
Marcy Westcott
Meditation and mindfulness has enabled me to discover what I truly love and what I believe the world needs. I believe I'm here to learn lessons around how we are all connected and how we can heal with the power of connection. My credo as a teacher is, "When one teaches, two learn." I've learned what a gift the student teacher relationship is and how the energy of that relationship flows both ways. As a teacher I feel that I'm here to simply hold the lantern so that others can see.
Tan NGUYEN
I have been serving for almost 50 years as a professional helper, and an organizer of events, workshops, conferences for other therapists colleagues and also spiritual leaders. I sense that I am going towards being more compassionate for myself and others. Being rather doing. It means connecting with the dissociated parts of myself. Being more present with people. Also sharing my experience through writing and painting. Appreciating my own worth. And sharing it.
