  15. Hi Patrice, Great question and feedback. I will pass this on, but I'll also share some thoughts about how to fill this out. First, you can absolutely use the Training Deep Dives to help you fill this out. There is a lot of great information there, for instance, about how to help students cultivate beginner's mind (i.e. by asking open-ended questions infused with curiosity). But beyond the Training Deep Dives, I recommend approaching this chart by asking yourself the following questions and seeing what intuitively arises. I'll use 'non-striving' as an example: How can I model non-striving through my way of being? (i.e. "If a student expresses that they were trying to feel relaxed during a practice but couldn't, I can hold space for their experience as it was and help them to inquire into what they did feel") What words, examples, or stories can I use to talk about non-striving? (i.e. "I can explain that we're not trying to get anywhere or achieve anything through mindfulness; we're just opening to what is") What sorts of practices might help my students gain an experiential understanding of non-striving? (i.e. "Mindfulness of breathing helps to convey non-striving because we aren't trying to reach another breath; we're just noticing this one." You certainly don't need to answer all of these questions to fill out the chart, but they might help you to come up with ideas for each. Let me know if this helps!
  16. I am about to listen now and will send over my thoughts and feedback via message when I am done

  19. Hi everyone! I just watched the replay of this week's Q&A and realized there are some questions lingering about the self-assessment rubric, perhaps certificate requirements as well. This thread will be dedicated to asking and answering any questions related to curriculum & certification. Also - you can now find a helpful FAQ document on the Certification Requisites page! https://teach.mindfulnessexercises.com/mindfulness-meditation-teacher-certification/ You are also free to email me or send a private message if you prefer.
  20. Lovely to read about your vision, Maria. Thank you for sharing. This is certainly important work. Do you have any suggested articles or resources to recommended on the connection between mindfulness and dementia or Alzheimer's?
  21. Hello Maria! So wonderful to e-meet you. Welcome to our program and community. I'm Gillian - the community moderator and part of Sean's support team. If you have any questions, let me know. @lisammany@gmail.com - Lisa, I am tagging you here as I think you asked a question in a Q&A call about older populations/Alzheimer's. I am not 100% sure on this, but in case this is accurate, maybe you'd like to connect with Maria and/or pose some questions.
  22. I think as this was optional, it was being left for self-organization. I, too, thought there was someone who was taking a list and organizing something. I'll check in with Sean to see if he's heard anything.
